Donsö's Olof Sundström shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 17th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Albert Runberg but with some difficulty. Jan-Olof Helberg's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Albert Runberg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Wilhelm Alströmmer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gånghester's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilhelm Alströmmer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfons Olofsson to make the kick off. If Herbert Ekelund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
