Jonas Magnusson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niklas Jönsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vidar Petersson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Bo-Erik Östman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Vidar Petersson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 42 minutes into the game, Marc Åhlberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Vidar Petersson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A sloppy throw-in by Kristoffer Eklund in the 46th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Sivberski's Pär Britz. Pär Britz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vidar Petersson having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Jan-Olof Arvidsson made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bo-Erik Östman in the 52nd minute of play forced FC Bengtzema's goalkeeper Vidar Petersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
