Joakim Kinnman kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rännstensungar FF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Staffan Lundhberg was slow to take the kick. During this time SeanMcConnerys's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on SeanMcConnerys's corner Staffan Lundhberg fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tage Björklund quite easily take care of the ball. Jonatan Haegg spun around in front of the goal 30 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of SeanMcConnerys's goal. 32 minutes into the game, Helge Vennerkvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SeanMcConnerys's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rännstensungar FF the free kick. SeanMcConnerys's Manfred Jönsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils-Erik Malmberg in the 34th minute of play. Tage Björklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Hegg, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 44th minute Joakim Kinnman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manfred Jönsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Rännstensungar FF getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Nils-Erik Malmberg hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

SeanMcConnerys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kennet Fernström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Oliver Hegg managed to get in a good position for a shot. SeanMcConnerys's supporters rose to their feet, but Oliver Hegg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tage Björklund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
