Landvetter's Vidar Vedholm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gösta Kilström in the 42nd minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leo Dusett made a kick off. In the 54th match minute, Landvetter was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casper Ivarsson to maneuver through the defense. Gösta Kilström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Landvetter's zone, Gösta Kilström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vidar Vedholm came out of the goal and Gösta Kilström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 64 minutes into the match, Lye IF's Gösta Kilström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vidar Vedholm narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vidar Vedholm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gösta Kilström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Lye IF's zone, Per-Erik Vallander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristoffer Nordström came out of the goal and Per-Erik Vallander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vidar Vedholm stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gösta Kilström's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Landvetter's Vidar Vedholm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Ahlbom in the 86th minute of play. Gösta Kilström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vidar Vedholm didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gösta Kilström went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. When the final whistle sounded Lye IF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Landvetter.
