Manfred Söderström hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Pelle Gerdberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ove Eliasson in the 16th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Inge Nilsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Onsala BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Inge Nilsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pelle Gerdberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Inge Nilsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ludvig Lindgren hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Onsala BK's Patrick Nyman got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Patrick Nyman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Walter Barck was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walter Barck in the 53rd minute of play forced Onsala BK's goalkeeper Petter Myr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Onsala BK's zone, Manfred Söderström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petter Myr came out of the goal and Manfred Söderström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pelle Gerdberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludvig Lindgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 61st minute, Walter Barck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Onsala BK's Lennart Andersson quite brazenly broke a throw-in by David Wennerquist, made in the 64th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Lennart Andersson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eneryda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Onsala BK the free kick. After 75 played minutes Eneryda got a freekick which was hit by Manfred Söderström. Pelle Gerdberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ove Eliasson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Eneryda's zone, Ludvig Lindgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pelle Gerdberg came out of the goal and Ludvig Lindgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eneryda's Pelle Gerdberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludvig Lindgren in the 82nd minute of play. Inge Nilsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pelle Gerdberg having to interfere. Onsala BK's Lennart Andersson got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 88 minutes into the game, Svante Skytt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eneryda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Onsala BK the free kick. In the 87th minute, one of Eneryda:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Eneryda. Ludvig Lindgren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pelle Gerdberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. In the 91st minute Ove Eliasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pelle Gerdberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Onsala BK booed when Eneryda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manfred Söderström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Inge Nilsson made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 96thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Pelle Gerdberg would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Onsala BK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
