Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Andreas Lind made the kick off and thus started the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Lind in the 4th minute of play forced Vellinge FK's goalkeeper Börge Lilja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inge Lidman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jens-Åke Kruse's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Mattias Melander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 21 minutes into the match, Mary Janes Krigare's goal looked a bit too open when Jens-Åke Kruse came free, but Inge Lidman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Andreas Lind had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Per-Åke Ahlqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Mary Janes Krigare's zone, Jens-Åke Kruse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Inge Lidman came out of the goal and Jens-Åke Kruse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 29 minutes, Mattias Melander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vellinge FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mattias Melander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jens-Åke Kruse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Inge Lidman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Inge Lidman was a little too slow when Jens-Åke Kruse got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 1-0. Mary Janes Krigare's Inge Lidman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Mary Janes Krigare from getting a goal against them. Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Inge Lidman successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Inge Lidman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Åke Kruse in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jens-Åke Kruse stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Andreas Lind fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Börge Lilja having to interfere. Vellinge FK's Börge Lilja proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Vellinge FK from getting a goal against them. Inge Lidman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Åke Kruse in the 62nd minute of play. Börge Lilja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andreas Lind in the 68th minute of the match. Mattias Melander scored 2-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Inge Lidman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Inge Lidman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattias Melander in the 73rd minute of play. Jens-Åke Kruse spun around in front of the goal 75 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Mary Janes Krigare's goal. Jens-Åke Kruse took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Inge Lidman. Inge Lidman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Mattias Melander managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vellinge FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Mattias Melander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Inge Lidman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 91st minute Jens-Åke Kruse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inge Lidman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mattias Melander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Inge Lidman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Mattias Melander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mary Janes Krigare's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
