Spectators: 6665 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Edgar Hallgren got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute Stig Ekelund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Björn Stenberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 6 minutes, Edgar Hallgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gudhem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgar Hallgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gudhem's Edgar Hallgren got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 9 minutes, Nils Skoog managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 15thth minute of the game Edgar Hallgren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lessebo's Björn Stenberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nils Skoog got free with Björn Stenberg in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edgar Hallgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Björn Stenberg having to interfere. Edgar Hallgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 34 minutes into the match, Billy Jernberg notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Gudhem's Stig-Åke Björk. Stig-Åke Björk was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edgar Hallgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Björn Stenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nils-Erik Eriksson got free with Björn Stenberg in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edgar Hallgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Håkan Igelström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gudhem's Nils Skoog got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lessebo's Björn Stenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils-Erik Eriksson in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Edgar Hallgren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Björn Stenberg. Lessebo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgar Hallgren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Edgar Hallgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Björn Stenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgar Hallgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 70 minutes, Billy Jernberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lessebo and the Gudhem players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Gudhem booed when Lessebo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Billy Jernberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Nils Skoog notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Lessebo's Björn Stenberg. Björn Stenberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Lessebo's zone, Nils Skoog stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Björn Stenberg came out of the goal and Nils Skoog tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 83 minutes into the match, Lessebo's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Hallgren came free, but Björn Stenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Björn Stenberg came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Gudhem's Edgar Hallgren. But to his dismay, Edgar Hallgren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Edgar Hallgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Björn Stenberg having to interfere. Edgar Hallgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils Skoog in the 96th minute of play forced Lessebo's goalkeeper Björn Stenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Gudhem were the better team. Gudhem's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
