Seating: 1682, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ove Wahlnäs started the match with the kick off. Nils Skoog received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Gilbert Hedling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stig-Åke Björk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ove Wahlnäs, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Gudhem's Stig-Åke Björk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ove Wahlnäs in the 14th minute of play. Edwin Kalfhage hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute, Edgar Hallgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Nils Skoog had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stig-Åke Björk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Kjellberg in the 29th minute of the match. Ove Wahlnäs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 35 minutes, Marcus Kjellberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tanumshede BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcus Kjellberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 43 minutes into the match, Gudhem's Nils Skoog sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gilbert Hedling narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 44 minutes of play, Tanumshede BF's Marcus Kjellberg made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stig-Åke Björk was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Tanumshede BF were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edgar Hallgren to strike the kick off in the second half. Gilbert Hedling showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils Skoog, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After 58 minutes, Edgar Hallgren made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Tanumshede BF's Gilbert Hedling tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Gudhem getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Stig Ekelund hit a great ball. Gilbert Hedling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Hallgren in the 63rd minute of play. If Nils Skoog had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgar Hallgren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gilbert Hedling having to make a save.
