When Sven-Edvin Kalfhage came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Tibro FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven-Edvin Kalfhage couldn't finish the play. In the 29th minute Orvar Askelöf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brian Lindström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ludvig Danielsson's late challenge caught a Tibro FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Peder Alegren made a kick off. When Peder Alegren came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Tibro FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peder Alegren couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Peder Alegren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tibro FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Peder Alegren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl-Magnus Kjellberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Orvar Askelöf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rasmus Eliasson got free with Brian Lindström in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 66 minutes into the match, Sven-Edvin Kalfhage had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karl-Magnus Kjellberg. Victor Thörner Crew's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sven-Edvin Kalfhage was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Tibro FK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Victor Thörner Crew for a fine match.
