Spectators: 6675 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Peder Alegren made the kick off which started today's match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sven-Edvin Kalfhage in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sigvard Gerdberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Peder Alegren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sigvard Gerdberg having to make a save. Leonard Gregerssons short, quick shot in the 10thth minute got Brian Lindström to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Leonard Gregersson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sandsjöfors's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonard Gregersson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brian Lindström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 16th minute, Peder Alegren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tibro FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Brian Lindström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josef Haegg in the 19th minute of play. Leonard Gregersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Leonard Gregersson took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Brian Lindström. Brian Lindström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Sigvard Gerdberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peder Alegren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, Sandsjöfors's Calle Lindqvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Brian Lindström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 31st minute, Josef Haegg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Josef Haegg came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Sandsjöfors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Josef Haegg couldn't finish the play. With his leg Brian Lindström managed to avoid a goal in the 42ndth minute, when Sandsjöfors's Leonard Gregersson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The Tibro FK fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when Tibro FK's Sven-Edvin Kalfhage looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After the first half Tibro FK were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Josef Haegg made a kick off. Josef Haegg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Brian Lindström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Sandsjöfors's zone, Sven-Edvin Kalfhage stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sigvard Gerdberg came out of the goal and Sven-Edvin Kalfhage tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tibro FK's Sven-Edvin Kalfhage got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sven-Edvin Kalfhage was shown his second yellow card after 70 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Sandsjöfors booed when Tibro FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Edvin Kalfhage didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute Peder Alegren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sigvard Gerdberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sigvard Gerdberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peder Alegren in the 92nd minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Tibro FK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
