Sandsjöfors's Sigvard Gerdberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Lund in the 58th minute of play. Leif Pihlwall was shown his second yellow card after 62 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 63rd minute, Leif Pihlwall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Conny Stenkvist was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Josef Haegg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 64 minute of play. The supporters of Sandsjöfors booed when Munkfors IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Börje Brovall didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute, Joel Högström made a precise shot to the right of Sigvard Gerdberg. Sandsjöfors's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1.
