With a little luck, Kyrkesund's Jimmie Hedling got control of the ball when Joel Högström tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leo Pedersson during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 7th match minute, Kyrkesund was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Pedersson to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Munkfors IK's Sonny Wästerberg tried to score from far away in the 8th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Kyrkesund's Erling Andersson got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Munkfors IK's goalkeeper Conny Stenkvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 13 minutes into the match, Munkfors IK's goal looked a bit too open when Harald Lindholm came free, but Conny Stenkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Harald Lindholm made a precise shot to the right of Conny Stenkvist. Munkfors IK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Harald Lindholm in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Conny Stenkvist saved Munkfors IK from getting behind. Axel Falk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Conny Stenkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harald Lindholm in the 33rd minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Munkfors IK's goal looked a bit too open when Harald Lindholm came free, but Conny Stenkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tobias Lund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Munkfors IK's goalkeeper Conny Stenkvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Falk. Harald Lindholm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Conny Stenkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Axel Falk's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Conny Stenkvist firmly grabbed it by the left post. Valdemar Håkansson's late challenge caught a Kyrkesund's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valdemar Håkansson helped the player get up and apologised. Kyrkesund's Eric Larsson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 67th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Munkfors IK. When Axel Falk came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Kyrkesund fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Falk couldn't finish the play. Jimmie Hedling showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobias Lund, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Kyrkesund's Erling Andersson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Conny Stenkvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leo Pedersson was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 80th minute. Kyrkesund's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Harald Lindholm in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Conny Stenkvist saved Munkfors IK from getting behind. 89 minutes into the match, Kyrkesund's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Lund came free, but Jimmie Hedling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Harald Lindholm might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Conny Stenkvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
