Lövånger IFK's Hans Aleberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Lidström in the 4th minute of play. In the 6th match minute, Mollösund BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig-Ove Svensson to maneuver through the defense. Joacim Gullesson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Hans Aleberg made a huge save. A collision led to Lövånger IFK getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Kjell Kellberg hit a great ball. In the 13th match minute, Mollösund BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig-Ove Svensson to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Villiam Almstedt in the 15th minute of play forced Lövånger IFK's goalkeeper Hans Aleberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Joacim Gullesson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mollösund BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Peter Askestät received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Hans Aleberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Einar Stenqvist took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henrik Svensson. Henrik Svensson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 33 minutes in the game, Joacim Gullesson fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Hans Aleberg having to interfere. The supporters of Mollösund BK booed when Lövånger IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. John Östlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edwin Arenberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Mollösund BK getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Stig-Ove Svensson hit a great ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Einar Stenqvist was the one to do the kick off. After 55 played minutes Lövånger IFK got a freekick which was hit by Viggo Byström. Lövånger IFK's Hans Aleberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Villiam Almstedt in the 57th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robert Lidström in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hans Aleberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hans Aleberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joacim Gullesson in the 61st minute of play. 63 minutes into the game, Viggo Byström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lövånger IFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mollösund BK the free kick. In the 63rd minute, Viggo Byström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute Magne Rosin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans Aleberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Robert Lidström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hans Aleberg. Lövånger IFK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robert Lidström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The supporters of Mollösund BK booed when Lövånger IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Einar Stenqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 83 minutes, Robert Lidström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mollösund BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robert Lidström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 87 minutes, Robert Lidström made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Lövånger IFK's Hans Aleberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Mollösund BK's Henrik Svensson got control of the ball when Edwin Arenberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mollösund BK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
