Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) Tim Qvarnström made the kick off and thus started the match. A collision led to Bates FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Ove Hjälm hit a great ball. In the 9th minute, Arvid Flink got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 11th minute Ralf Nyström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Vestberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tim Qvarnström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arvid Flink sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ralf Nyström in the 27th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Sebastian Vestberg kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Ralf Nyström received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sebastian Vestberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Ralf Nyström slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 30th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arvid Flink got free with Sebastian Vestberg in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tim Qvarnström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christoffer Westerberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brian Harlén in the 42nd minute of the match. After 43 played minutes Bates FC got a freekick which was hit by Tim Qvarnström.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ralf Nyström was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute, Kinnarp's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tim Qvarnström fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Brian Harlén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christoffer Westerberg having to interfere. Christoffer Westerberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tim Qvarnström in the 62nd minute of play. Kinnarp's Christoffer Westerberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tim Qvarnström in the 68th minute of play. After 70 minutes, Bo Lövkvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bates FC and the Kinnarp players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 70 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bates FC! In the 71st minute there was a penalty for Kinnarp. Evert Dalgren stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sebastian Vestberg. 3-1. 74 minutes into the match, Brian Harlén notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Kinnarp's Christoffer Westerberg. Christoffer Westerberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kinnarp's Christoffer Westerberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tim Qvarnström in the 82nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Arvid Flink managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kinnarp's supporters rose to their feet, but Arvid Flink was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastian Vestberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ralf Nyström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Despite being the better team, Bates FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
