When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Holger Salqvist sped through Bates FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sebastian Vestberg. Johannes Boklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute of the game, Timmy Hult landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Arrows Road's Torsten Hermansson was substituted for Timmy Hult. The supporters of Arrows Road booed when Bates FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torbjörn Ahlbeck didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute of the match Kaj Sellberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sebastian Vestberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Kaj Sellberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Vestberg having to interfere. Arrows Road's Per Bröms proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Arrows Road from getting a goal against them. Sebastian Vestberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaj Sellberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Holger Salqvist struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Sebastian Vestberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arrows Road. Sebastian Vestberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaj Sellberg in the 44th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Holger Salqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arrows Road's supporters rose to their feet, but Holger Salqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastian Vestberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tim Qvarnström was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Kaj Sellberg took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Sebastian Vestberg to make any attempt to save it. Sebastian Vestberg made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Kaj Sellberg sent off a good shot on target. After 66 played minutes Bates FC got a freekick which was hit by Christian Britz. Ove Fastesson kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Kaj Sellberg succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 80th playminute. Kaj Sellberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Sebastian Vestberg made a huge save. Jonatan Siggman shot from long distance in the 87th minute, but Sebastian Vestberg was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Brian Harlén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per Bröms having to interfere. Arrows Road's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
