Nils-Åke Hedbom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvar Odin in the 3rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ralf Örtendal in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thomas Stenman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alvar Odin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Nils-Åke Hedbom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thomas Stenman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ralf Örtendal, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Greger Hellkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Nils-Åke Hedbom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dennis Örnberg charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dennis Örnberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dennis Örnberg kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Nils-Åke Hedbom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvar Odin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Greger Hellkvists short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Nils-Åke Hedbom to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 32nd minute Henning Runeberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Stenman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Ralf Örtendal came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Karlholmsbruk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ralf Örtendal couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ralf Örtendal to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Ralf Örtendal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karlholmsbruk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ralf Örtendal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nils-Åke Hedbom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvar Odin in the 54th minute of play. Ralf Örtendal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Ralf Örtendal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karlholmsbruk's supporters rose to their feet, but Ralf Örtendal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thomas Stenman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Karlholmsbruk's Simon Martinsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Thomas Stenman. That made the score 0-2 after 65 minutes of play. Karlholmsbruk's Ralf Örtendal got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 81st match minute, Karlholmsbruk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Martinsson to maneuver through the defense. FK Pelister's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Ralf Örtendal scored to the left of an out of position Thomas Stenman, making the score, 0-3. Börje Snäll recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ralf Örtendal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute, Walter Bivall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 98th minute Karlholmsbruk were awarded a corner. Malte Alebeck went to the cornerflag to take it. When the final whistle sounded Karlholmsbruk left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FK Pelister.
