Gustav Holmberg did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised David Svartengren 4 minutes into the match. In the 8th minute, Gustav Holmberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Timo Werner was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 9th minute. Nävekvarn RK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Timo Werner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Svartengren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Timo Werner in the 14th minute. 24 minutes into the game, Timo Werner was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nävekvarn RK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sälen the free kick. After 25 played minutes Nävekvarn RK got a freekick which was hit by Timo Werner. In the 27th minute, Timo Werner ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. David Svartengren was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Albin Hagberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bo-Erik Helberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustav Holmberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Svartengren having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustav Holmberg got free with David Svartengren in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. David Svartengren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustav Holmberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Stig-Ove Sjögren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Albin Hagberg having to make a save. Emil Odman kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. The Nävekvarn RK fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when Nävekvarn RK's Gustav Holmberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 66 minutes into the match, Nävekvarn RK's Gustav Holmberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Svartengren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Stig-Ove Sjögren fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sälen's protests and gave Stig-Ove Sjögren a yellow card for diving instead. In the 72nd minute Gustav Holmberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Svartengren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute, Timo Werner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gustav Holmberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 83 minutes into the match, Sälen's goal looked a bit too open when Gustav Holmberg came free, but David Svartengren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Gustav Holmberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Svartengren. Sälen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustav Holmberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. 5-0 became the score in the 87th minute when Gustav Holmberg elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. George Kinnman kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Timo Werner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. David Svartengren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nävekvarn RK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
