After having played for 6 minutes, Robin Forsberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liatorp's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robin Forsberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sören Wennerqvist took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thomas Klementsson. Thomas Klementsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Frank Pilblad's late challenge caught a Liatorp's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frank Pilblad helped the player get up and apologised. Frank Pilblad kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Liatorp's Sören Wennerqvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thomas Klementsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thomas Klementsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sören Wennerqvist went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Linus Lindsten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Klementsson having to interfere. When Robin Forsberg came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Liatorp fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robin Forsberg couldn't finish the play. 31 minutes into the match, Mjällby AIF's goalkeeper Thomas Klementsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robin Forsberg. Gustav Hellström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Thomas Klementsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Linus Lindsten ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thomas Klementsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Gustav Hellström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Klementsson having to interfere.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Linus Lindsten managed to get in a good position for a shot. Liatorp's supporters rose to their feet, but Linus Lindsten was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thomas Klementsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 54th minute, Sören Wennerqvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thomas Klementsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After 61 played minutes Mjällby AIF got a freekick which was hit by Kristian Eliasson. Linus Lindsten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Axel Eliasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Linus Bruse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sören Wennerqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Liatorp's Axel Eliasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Linus Bruse in the 71st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Liatorp's Harry Blom got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Axel Eliasson acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 74th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ingvar Bergren. If Sören Wennerqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the match, Mjällby AIF's goal looked a bit too open when Linus Lindsten came free, but Thomas Klementsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sören Wennerqvist struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Thomas Klementsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liatorp. Linus Bruse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tom Berg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mathias Åhlberg's late challenge caught a Liatorp's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Axel Eliasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Linus Bruse, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Marc Öberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Axel Eliasson made a huge save. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Liatorp had played much better football throughout.
