Thomas Klementsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Bammerman, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 47th minute, Mjällby AIF's Linus Bruse ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Josef Jönsson. Mjällby AIF's Thomas Klementsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Mjällby AIF from getting a goal against them. Linus Bruse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josef Jönsson having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 61st minute of the game. One of Mjällby AIF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Halfvéns FF:s goal. Edmund Klemensson shot the penalty kick right outside the post. The audience was convinced that Linus Bruse's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Josef Jönsson was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexander Bammerman got free with Thomas Klementsson in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mjällby AIF's Mathias Åhlberg got his second yellow card of the match in the 87th minute. The referee ordered Mathias Åhlberg off the ground.
