Spectators: 6550 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 50) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Karl-Michael Termander kicked off to start the match. Casper Bank made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Helge Myhr in the 3rd minute of play. Västkusten 89ers's Casper Bank played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Helge Myhr in the 8th minute of play. When Michael Bollström fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trelleborg RK's protests and gave Michael Bollström a yellow card for diving instead. Michael Bollström hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Michael Bollström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casper Bank having to interfere. Helge Myhr's late challenge caught a Västkusten 89ers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Helge Myhr helped the player get up and apologised. After 14 played minutes Trelleborg RK got a freekick which was hit by Helge Myhr. Karl-Michael Termander hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Rolf Bergsten struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Casper Bank didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trelleborg RK. Anton Sundström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Ingvar Nordström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Helge Myhr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casper Bank having to interfere. Casper Bank showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolf Bergsten in the 33rd minute of the match. Västkusten 89ers's Casper Bank played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Helge Myhr in the 34th minute of play. In the 42nd minute Helge Myhr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Bank saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Rolf Bergsten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Helge Myhr was the one to do the kick off. Anton Sundström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 55 minutes into the match, Karl-Michael Termander had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ingvar Nordström. Trelleborg RK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karl-Michael Termander was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Karl-Michael Termander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingvar Nordström having to interfere. Trelleborg RK's Rolf Bergsten got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 62nd minute Helge Myhr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Bank saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 65 minutes, Sven-Ove Stigsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Västkusten 89ers and the Trelleborg RK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 65 played minutes Västkusten 89ers got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Ove Stigsson. The long shot by Sven-Olof Kristiansson in the 65th minute really tested Casper Bank's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Casper Bank showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Helge Myhr in the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th match minute, Västkusten 89ers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ture Hellström to maneuver through the defense. 81 minutes into the match, Trelleborg RK's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Michael Termander came free, but Ingvar Nordström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rolf Bergsten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sven-Ove Stigsson was shown his second yellow card after 85 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 85th match minute, Västkusten 89ers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Ove Stigsson to maneuver through the defense. Helge Myhr's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casper Bank read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. When Anton Sundström came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Västkusten 89ers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anton Sundström couldn't finish the play. Jens-Åke Nilsson kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Sven-Olof Kristiansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Västkusten 89ers's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
