In the 5th minute Helge Myhr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hampus Kuse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fredric Grubb hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Rolf Bergsten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hampus Kuse having to interfere. Jörgen Forsell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ingvar Nordström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. A collision led to Vederslöv getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Jörgen Forsell hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Vederslöv's zone, Rolf Bergsten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hampus Kuse came out of the goal and Rolf Bergsten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hampus Kuse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Helge Myhr in the 31st minute of play. Rolf Bergsten blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hampus Kuse having to make a save. In the 34th minute, Helge Myhr reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hampus Kuse. The goal made the score 1-0. Helge Myhr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Hampus Kuse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Helge Myhr stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jörgen Forsell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingvar Nordström having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Trelleborg RK's Michael Bollström got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Helge Myhr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hampus Kuse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolf Bergsten, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Helge Myhr scored 2-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hampus Kuse, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rolf Bergsten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hampus Kuse having to interfere. In the 66th match minute, Trelleborg RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eskil Berggren to maneuver through the defense. Vederslöv were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Trelleborg RK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Jonsson took the corner. After taking down the ball on Vederslöv's corner Daniel Jonsson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ingvar Nordström quite easily take care of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcus Ahlin during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Vederslöv's Marcus Ahlin got a free kick in the 80th minute. If Helge Myhr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ian Holmberg hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Helge Myhr recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90thth minute of the game Rolf Bergsten who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vederslöv's Hampus Kuse was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Trelleborg RK booed when Vederslöv was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dag Rosin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vederslöv's Hampus Kuse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Helge Myhr in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute, Arvin Hultman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Inge Gregersson's late challenge caught a Vederslöv's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Inge Gregersson helped the player get up and apologised. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Trelleborg RK fully deserved thier win.
