Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when William Henriksson took the kick off in the first half of the match. Nils Jespersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Ian Hultin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nils Jespersson got free with Ian Hultin in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 16 minutes into the game, Stig-Åke Andersson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ian Hultin. Stig-Åke Andersson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Ian Hultin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig-Åke Andersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. William Henriksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Verner Knutsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ian Hultin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig-Åke Andersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute, Lucas Hägglund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ullared BF's Ian Hultin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig-Åke Andersson in the 43rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nils Jespersson got free with Ian Hultin in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 48 minutes of play, Ullared BF's Wilhelm Lindgren made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Verner Knutsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stig-Åke Andersson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils Jespersson in the 56th minute of play forced Ullared BF's goalkeeper Ian Hultin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stig-Åke Andersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Vrigstad IK getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Stig-Åke Andersson hit a great ball. Ian Hultin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils Jespersson in the 64th minute of play. Lucas Hägglund hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After having played for 66 minutes, Nils Jespersson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vrigstad IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nils Jespersson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 69th minute Nils Jespersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Hultin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stig-Åke Andersson took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ian Hultin. Ian Hultin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Wilhelm Lindgren scored 2-2 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Verner Knutsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vrigstad IK's Verner Knutsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Henriksson in the 91st minute of play. Ralf Kiempe struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Ian Hultin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vrigstad IK. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
