Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Älvsered BK's Jörgen Magnusson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Christer Spetz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarl Sundin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alf Åberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Alf Åberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Älvsered BK booed when Föllinge IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torbjörn Öman didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jörgen Magnusson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jörgen Magnusson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 20 minutes into the match, Föllinge IK's goalkeeper Helge Borre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alf Åberg. After 31 played minutes Älvsered BK got a freekick which was hit by Kasper Alebeck. Karl Hansson was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 32nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 42 minutes into the match, Älvsered BK's Jörgen Magnusson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Helge Borre narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oskar Glad made a kick off. After 52 played minutes Älvsered BK got a freekick which was hit by Sakarias Lundqvist. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christian Forsberg got free with Jarl Sundin in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alf Åberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Helge Borre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Älvsered BK's Jarl Sundin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oskar Glad in the 60th minute of play. In the 63rd minute of the match Joakim Bållström shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Helge Borre showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Kasper Alebeck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Helge Borre having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Föllinge IK's Oskar Glad sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jarl Sundin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Föllinge IK's Helge Borre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörgen Magnusson in the 79th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jörgen Magnusson in the 89th minute of play forced Föllinge IK's goalkeeper Helge Borre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Älvsered BK's goal looked a bit too open when Oskar Glad came free, but Jarl Sundin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kasper Alebeck kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Älvsered BK's Jarl Sundin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oskar Glad in the 95th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oliver Falkrans during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Christian Forsberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Föllinge IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Forsberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jarl Sundin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the Föllinge IK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Älvsered BK.
