Karl-Oskar Botvidsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven Berggren, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Christoffer Persson kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 15th minute, when FC Blueballs's Greger Hagberg after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Alvar Ekerot in Vittinge IK's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. In the 17th minute Ragnar Holmgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvar Ekerot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Ragnar Holmgren reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alvar Ekerot. The goal made the score 1-1. After some careless play in the FC Blueballs defense, Albert Stor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karl-Oskar Botvidsson. The FC Blueballs fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karl-Oskar Botvidsson should have stopped the shot. 32 minutes into the match, Sven Berggren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karl-Oskar Botvidsson. FC Blueballs's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sven Berggren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Karl-Oskar Botvidsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elof Wiberg in the 36th minute of play. Sven Berggren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Karl-Oskar Botvidsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Tobias Ödman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elof Wiberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ragnar Holmgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The FC Blueballs players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vittinge IK were winning 1-3.

The Vittinge IK fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Vittinge IK's Sven Berggren looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Karl-Oskar Botvidsson was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Elof Wiberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Elof Wiberg really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. Sven Berggren struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Karl-Oskar Botvidsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vittinge IK. After a defensive mix-up in FC Blueballs's zone, Sven Berggren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Oskar Botvidsson came out of the goal and Sven Berggren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 82 minutes into the match, FC Blueballs's goalkeeper Karl-Oskar Botvidsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sven Berggren. In the 85th minute, FC Blueballs's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sven Berggren fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Ragnar Holmgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The FC Blueballs supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Vittinge IK's performance. The match ended with a win for Vittinge IK.
