Kim Öfverman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Sven-Edvin Alebom managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malmbäck's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven-Edvin Alebom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stellan Hafström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Malmbäck's Torgny Lindell got control of the ball when Niclas Bodin tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mathias Bergvall made a kick off. In the 55th match minute, Malmbäck was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niclas Ahlfors to maneuver through the defense. Niclas Bodin hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Niclas Bodin in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Torgny Lindell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kim Öfverman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Stellan Hafström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of mikaelr BK booed when Malmbäck was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kim Öfverman didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. mikaelr BK had won after a very even match.
