Charlton Athletic F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Iron FC the free kick. In the 5th minute, Andreas Sundberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniel Tholsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Harry Olsmann struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Daniel Tholsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iron FC. 17 minutes into the game, Iron FC's Andreas Sundberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Daniel Tholsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Harry Olsmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Iron FC's Mårten Låsberg got a free kick in the 28th minute. When Iron FC's Harry Olsmann in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 38th minute, Harry Olsmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 40th minute, Mårten Låsberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 41 played minutes, Charlton Athletic F.C.'s Herbert Öberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gottfrid Malmberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Charlton Athletic F.C. reached it. Charlton Athletic F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 43rd minute, when Harry Olsmann scored to the left of an out of position Daniel Tholsson, making the score, 3-0. Andreas Sundberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Tholsson having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Harry Olsmann stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Harry Olsmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sven-Olof Sikström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Tholsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Harry Olsmann struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Daniel Tholsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iron FC. After some careless play in the Charlton Athletic F.C. defense, Sven-Olof Sikström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniel Tholsson. The Charlton Athletic F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniel Tholsson should have stopped the shot. Harry Olsmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Daniel Tholsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andreas Sundberg in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniel Tholsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Harry Olsmann came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Iron FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harry Olsmann couldn't finish the play. A sloppy throw-in by William Pilblad in the 77th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Iron FC's Maximilian Sjö. In the 79th match minute, Charlton Athletic F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Johan Skark to maneuver through the defense. Andreas Sundberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Daniel Tholsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iron FC's Harry Olsmann got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Andreas Sundberg scored 5-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daniel Tholsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 89th minute, Göran Söderberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Tholsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harry Olsmann in the 92nd minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Iron FC fully deserved thier win.
