The referee ignored CONCEPCION's protests and gave Edvard Sandberg a yellow card for diving instead. After recieving a nice pass, Älgarås's Joseph Knutsson tried to score from far away in the 6th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Esbjörn Enegren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Kristoffer Dalgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the game, Brian Holmgren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CONCEPCION's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Älgarås the free kick. Patric Sandberg missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 15 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Kristoffer Dalgren right hand side. Eric Lundqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eric Lundqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stellan Walroth having to interfere. A collision led to CONCEPCION getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Edvard Sandberg hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the match, Joseph Knutsson sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Kristoffer Dalgren threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Joseph Knutsson this time. The CONCEPCION fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when CONCEPCION's Claes Tunander looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Edvard Sandberg kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Claes Tunander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Stellan Walroth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Claes Tunander notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Älgarås's Stellan Walroth. Stellan Walroth was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Älgarås's goalkeeper Stellan Walroth, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claes Tunander to make the kick off. The supporters of Älgarås booed when CONCEPCION was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claes Tunander didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the match, CONCEPCION's goal looked a bit too open when Esbjörn Enegren came free, but Kristoffer Dalgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Claes Tunander's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stellan Walroth was relentless in the 78th minute of the game.
