An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthias Håkansson in the 3rd minute of play forced Älgarås's goalkeeper Stellan Walroth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 4th minute, Klågerup BF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alf Wik fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 6 minutes into the game, Gert Gustafsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Klågerup BF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Älgarås the free kick. The supporters of Älgarås booed when Klågerup BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gert Gustafsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jack Knutsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stellan Walroth read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Klågerup BF's Åke Ferm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Klågerup BF from getting a goal against them. In the 21st minute, Jack Knutsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Matthias Håkansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Alf Wik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 41st minute, but Åke Ferm got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Klågerup BF hanging dry this time. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Esbjörn Enegren to strike the kick off in the second half. Zebastian Hedkvist hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. During the 61st minute of the match Gert Gustafsson completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Gert Gustafsson a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 61st minute, Gert Gustafsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Älgarås's Tobias Groth got a free kick in the 71st minute. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Matthias Håkansson took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Stellan Walroth to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Klågerup BF getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. William Skröder hit a great ball. Älgarås's Stellan Walroth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Älgarås from getting a goal against them. Åke Ferm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobias Groth, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Alf Wik blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Åke Ferm having to make a save. If Matthias Håkansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Klågerup BF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
