In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Moholm's goalkeeper Magnus Pilgren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Magnus Pilgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Bergman in the 36th minute of play. Strömsund BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Moholm the free kick. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After 56 minutes, Kim Alstedt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Moholm and the Strömsund BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Krister Vennerkvist sped through Strömsund BK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Andreas Bergren. If Alex Bergman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kim Alstedt got his second yellow card in the match during the 87th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 88 played minutes Moholm got a freekick which was hit by Kim Alstedt. Instead of passing the ball, Ludvig Larsson made a really hard long shot towards goal. Moholm's Magnus Pilgren realized he got lucky when he saw the ball passing the outside of the left post. Magnus Pilgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Georg Pilberg in the 93rd minute of play. Moholm were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
