Spectators: 7138 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 50) Spirit of Shankly's Fredrik Melander started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jonas Salqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aaron Wållander in the 4th minute. A collision led to Spirit of Shankly getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Tommy Kellbom hit a great ball. Jonas Salqvist made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Aaron Wållander sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aaron Wållander got free with Jonas Salqvist in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Richard Forsell during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 25th minute, Richard Forsell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fredrik Melander might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Charles Hasselqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fredrik Melander ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 28th minute, Folke Danielsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonas Salqvist came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Hasslarp's Oscar Häger. But to his dismay, Oscar Häger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tim Jönsson in the 39th minute of play forced Spirit of Shankly's goalkeeper Jonas Salqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fredrik Melander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sture Persson during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.

After 56 played minutes Hasslarp got a freekick which was hit by Harry Landin. After a rather tough play, Hasslarp's Oscar Häger got a free kick in the 58th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Spirit of Shankly's zone, Tim Jönsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonas Salqvist came out of the goal and Tim Jönsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonas Salqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron Wållander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hasslarp's Richard Forsell got his second yellow card of the match in the 72nd minute. The referee ordered Richard Forsell off the ground. Richard Forsell hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Harry Landin kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Aaron Wållander made a precise shot to the right of Jonas Salqvist. Spirit of Shankly's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Folke Danielsson's late challenge caught a Hasslarp's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Folke Danielsson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 84th match minute, Spirit of Shankly was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Folke Danielsson to maneuver through the defense. Spirit of Shankly's Fredrik Melander got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Folke Danielsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Charles Hasselqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Oscar Häger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Many of Spirit of Shankly's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Spirit of Shankly may have spent more time on the ball, but Hasslarp were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
