The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Urban Lind hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12thth minute of the game Valter Ryberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Segersjö IF's Gunnar Kielstedt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jack Thedin charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jack Thedin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With an all-out effort, Segersjö IF's Harry Sjöman threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Billy Lövkvist, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Harry Sjöman made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Jonas Olsman sent off a good shot on target. If Valter Ryberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gunnar Kielstedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valter Ryberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. When Billy Lövkvist came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Segersjö IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Billy Lövkvist couldn't finish the play. Segersjö IF's Billy Lövkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The wind increased when Valter Ryberg made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Jonas Olsman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Segersjö IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonas Olsman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Harry Sjöman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Harry Sjöman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Billy Lövkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Örby IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Olsman came free, but Harry Sjöman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute of the match Segersjö IF got a corner. Örby IFK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jerry Kolberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Jack Thedin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valter Ryberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunnar Kielstedt having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Jonas Olsman notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Örby IFK's Harry Sjöman. Harry Sjöman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Segersjö IF's Gunnar Kielstedt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Segersjö IF from getting a goal against them. Georg Stenström kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Jonas Olsman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Segersjö IF had won after a very even match.
