Spectators: 7290 (Terracing: 5470, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 144) Valter Ryberg made the kick off and thus started the match. Alexander Ahlroth charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexander Ahlroth the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ransta getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Alexander Ahlroth hit a great ball. After 10 played minutes Ransta got a freekick which was hit by Jörgen Isaksson. In the 12th match minute, Ransta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zebastian Hård to maneuver through the defense. Örby IFK's Johnny Sjö got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Örjan Klemensson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valter Ryberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Johnny Sjö had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 22 minutes, Valter Ryberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Örby IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valter Ryberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emil Eklund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Harry Sjöman made a huge save. Örjan Klemensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johnny Sjö, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 40th minute, Johnny Sjö got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Valter Ryberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Örby IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Valter Ryberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Örjan Klemensson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Johnny Sjö received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Örjan Klemensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Örby IFK's Valter Ryberg got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Örby IFK's Valter Ryberg got a free kick in the 56th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Örby IFK's zone, Emil Eklund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harry Sjöman came out of the goal and Emil Eklund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 70 minutes into the game, Valter Ryberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Örjan Klemensson. Valter Ryberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. When Jack Thedin fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Örby IFK's protests and gave Jack Thedin a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ransta booed when Örby IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jack Thedin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emil Eklund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Harry Sjöman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Ransta's Örjan Klemensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valter Ryberg in the 77th minute of play. Johnny Sjö was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 82nd minute. Örby IFK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Johnny Sjö sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Johnny Sjö received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Örjan Klemensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Harry Sjöman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Eklund in the 91st minute of play. Georg Stenström hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Emil Eklund succeeded in the game's 93rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1.
