After a defensive mix-up in Segersjö IF's zone, Johnny Skytt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gunnar Kielstedt came out of the goal and Johnny Skytt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gunnar Kielstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vilhelm Joensson in the 15th minute of the match. Jonas Olsman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Billy Lövkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Målare having to interfere. In the 25th minute of the match, Vilhelm Joensson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gunnar Kielstedt saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 25th match minute, Segersjö IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urban Lind to maneuver through the defense. Johnny Skytt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Gunnar Kielstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gunnar Kielstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vilhelm Joensson in the 28th minute of play. If Johnny Skytt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes in the game, Vilhelm Joensson fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Gunnar Kielstedt having to interfere. Vilhelm Joensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunnar Kielstedt having to interfere. Tollered RK's Samuel Målare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Olsman in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute Billy Lövkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Målare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Johnny Skytt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunnar Kielstedt having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Segersjö IF's goalkeeper Gunnar Kielstedt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Segersjö IF's Billy Lövkvist in the 57th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Samuel Målare was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Tollered RK through an amazing save. Jonas Olsman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Samuel Målare tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Segersjö IF's goal looked a bit too open when Johnny Skytt came free, but Gunnar Kielstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Johnny Skytt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute, Johnny Skytt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tollered RK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Johnny Skytt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nils-Emil Snäll's late challenge caught a Segersjö IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nils-Emil Snäll helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Segersjö IF booed when Tollered RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nils-Emil Snäll didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Jonas Olsman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Segersjö IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonas Olsman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samuel Målare breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 88th match minute, Segersjö IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilbert Lindberg to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Billy Lövkvist in the 92nd minute of play forced Tollered RK's goalkeeper Samuel Målare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vilhelm Joensson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Segersjö IF's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
