In the 32nd minute Jimmy Eckegren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Strömberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elof Klint sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Lima SK defense, Elof Klint kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Axel Västlund. The Lima SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Axel Västlund should have stopped the shot. Axel Västlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elof Klint in the 40th minute of play. The goalkeeper, Leo Strömberg, was totally fooled by Lima SK's Markus Kjellkvist, who 43 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After 46 played minutes, Skellefteå RK's Andréas Bergsten shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Axel Västlund came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Skellefteå RK reached it. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Elof Klint made the kick off in the second half. Leo Strömberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaf Lang in the 56th minute of play. If Frans Fribäck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Skellefteå RK's Elof Klint in the 69th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Axel Västlund was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Lima SK through an amazing save. Frans Fribäck kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 71stth minute. Though ot was a great shot Lima SK's keeper Axel Västlund was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 76th minute, Frans Fribäck left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Skellefteå RK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. The audience was convinced that Elof Klint's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Axel Västlund was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Frans Fribäck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Axel Västlund having to interfere. A collision led to Lima SK getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Egon Ekenberg hit a great ball. Axel Västlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elof Klint, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
