Spectators: 6687 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1687, VIP seats: 0) Åkarp's Pontus Ahlin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Junsele BK's Nils Arvidsson suffered a concussion in the 2nd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. In the 4th match minute, Åkarp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt-Rune Bäck to maneuver through the defense. Billy Hellström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eric Linqvist in the 6th minute of the match. If Orvar Wennerström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pontus Ahlin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Heggert having to interfere. Dan Heggert didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 14th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. The supporters of Åkarp booed when Junsele BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Erik Hammarström didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Christopher Kjellbom was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Junsele BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Åkarp the free kick. The supporters of Åkarp booed when Junsele BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christopher Kjellbom didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christopher Kjellbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Billy Hellström having to interfere. If Eric Linqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Junsele BK's zone, Pontus Ahlin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dan Heggert came out of the goal and Pontus Ahlin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 38th minute, but Dan Heggert got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Junsele BK hanging dry this time. In the 41st minute, Eric Linqvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Junsele BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eric Linqvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 57 minutes of play Junsele BK's Christopher Kjellbom was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Niklas Snell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Åkarp's supporters rose to their feet, but Niklas Snell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dan Heggert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dan Heggert came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Åkarp's Niklas Snell. But to his dismay, Niklas Snell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Dan Heggert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niklas Snell, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Dan Heggert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niklas Snell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Niklas Snell came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Åkarp fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niklas Snell couldn't finish the play. Åkarp's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
