The supporters of Altersbruk IFK booed when Åshöjdens BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sverker Hellsing didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Åshöjdens BK defense, Valdemar Hellkvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Torsten Sundling. The Åshöjdens BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Torsten Sundling should have stopped the shot. 27 minutes into the game, Harald Joensson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Altersbruk IFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Åshöjdens BK the free kick. 29 minutes into the match, Altersbruk IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Linus Höijer came free, but Stig-Arne Brander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan-Åke Jönsätt got free with Stig-Arne Brander in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jan-Åke Jönsätt scored 1-2 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stig-Arne Brander, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Altersbruk IFK fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when Altersbruk IFK's Valdemar Hellkvist looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal.
