The referee ignored Gunnarn's protests and gave Patrick Berggren a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th minute, Gunnarn's Olle Björk ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rasmus Brandt. Rasmus Brandt yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Simon Lindqvist charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Simon Lindqvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
