Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rune Lindmark got the match started through his kick off. Martin Larsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Greger Igelström having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Kinnared IK's Mattias Skager got a free kick in the 9th minute. Mellösa IK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Petter Helander 12 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Rune Lindmark received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Greger Igelström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anders Dahlberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kåre Ahlkvist in the 17th minute. Petter Helander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 22 played minutes Mellösa IK got a freekick which was hit by Evert Telin. After a defensive mix-up in Mellösa IK's zone, Kåre Ahlkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anders Dahlberg came out of the goal and Kåre Ahlkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 28th minute, Jarl Ivarsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Anders Dahlberg managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Kinnared IK's Kåre Ahlkvist fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Anders Dahlberg made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Kåre Ahlkvist sent off a good shot on target. Mellösa IK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Petter Helander scored to the left of an out of position Anders Dahlberg, making the score, 2-0. Jarl Ivarsson kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Mellösa IK's Martin Larsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Greger Igelström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

After 51 played minutes Mellösa IK got a freekick which was hit by Michael Mellbad. After 54 minutes of play, Kinnared IK's Petter Helander made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anders Dahlberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Anders Dahlberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petter Helander in the 62nd minute of the match. Kåre Ahlkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Anders Dahlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Petter Helander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Vincent Sundling fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mellösa IK's protests and gave Vincent Sundling a yellow card for diving instead. After 71 played minutes Mellösa IK got a freekick which was hit by Vincent Sundling. Elias Wallmark hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Anders Dahlberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kåre Ahlkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Mellösa IK's goal looked a bit too open when Kåre Ahlkvist came free, but Anders Dahlberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute, Hampus Alrot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Petter Helander managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kinnared IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Petter Helander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anders Dahlberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anders Dahlberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kåre Ahlkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Mellösa IK defense, Petter Helander kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anders Dahlberg. The Mellösa IK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anders Dahlberg should have stopped the shot. 94 minutes into the game, Rune Lindmark recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Greger Igelström. Rune Lindmark showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-1. Kinnared IK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
