Spectators: 7295 (Terracing: 5473, Seating: 1677, VIP seats: 145) Orsa's Emil Gabrielsson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 13th play minute Martin Larsson came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Frans Vennersten. 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mark Jespersson during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Martin Larsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Frans Vennersten made a huge save. Michael Mellbad hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. A collision led to Mellösa IK getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Hampus Alrot hit a great ball. Emil Gabrielsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emil Gabrielsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Anders Dahlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Michael Mellbad, 35 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 39th minute, Vincent Sundling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Emil Gabrielsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Rune Lindmark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frans Vennersten having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Martin Larsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mellösa IK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. When Elias Wallmark fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mellösa IK's protests and gave Elias Wallmark a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd minute, one of Mellösa IK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mellösa IK. When the match had been going on for 64 minutes, Orsa's Ove Lindkvist got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Anders Dahlberg. In the 69th minute, Martin Larsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Frans Vennersten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rune Lindmark, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rune Lindmark in the 81st minute of play forced Orsa's goalkeeper Frans Vennersten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rune Lindmark blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Frans Vennersten having to make a save. Emil Gabrielsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Anders Dahlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Larsson in the 89th minute of play forced Orsa's goalkeeper Frans Vennersten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rune Lindmark scored 3-1 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Frans Vennersten, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Orsa players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mellösa IK.
