After a defensive mix-up in Orsa's zone, Martin Ekström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frans Vennersten came out of the goal and Martin Ekström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 8th minute, Martin Ekström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 9 minutes, Sven Hansson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Orsa and the Herrhagens boys players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 96 minutes, Martin Ekström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Herrhagens boys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Ekström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Orsa players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
