Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Björn Bergsten started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Lars Hellgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Björn Bergsten, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. In the 8th minute, Per Henriksson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lars Hellgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Björn Bergsten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Björn Bergsten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Björn Bergsten in the 19th minute of play forced Hjärup's goalkeeper Lars Hellgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Per Henriksson came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Gånghester fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Per Henriksson couldn't finish the play. In the 26th minute Per Henriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars Hellgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hjärup's goalkeeper Lars Hellgren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 31st minute Per Henriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars Hellgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Hjärup players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gånghester were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evert Brandt to make the kick off. Lars Hellgren was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Björn Bergsten showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 55 minute of play. Evert Brandt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Daniel Stigsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ingvar Danielsson got his second yellow card in the match during the 66th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Per Henriksson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Lars Hellgren made a huge save. Gånghester's Daniel Stigsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mark Bergqvist in the 73rd minute of play. Björn Bergsten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 93 minutes, Lars Hellgren successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Karl-Axel Tingelholm kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Gånghester played a much better game than Hjärup and deserved their victory. The Hjärup players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
