In the 20th minute Evert Brandt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Eriksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evert Brandt in the 22nd minute of play forced Björkö BK's goalkeeper Ivan Eriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd match minute, Björkö BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddie Spets to maneuver through the defense. Henrik Trillkott blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lars Hellgren having to make a save. Lars Hellgren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Allan Hybbert's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Allan Hybbert made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Björkö BK getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Freddie Spets hit a great ball. 63 minutes into the game, Max Nyström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Björkö BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hjärup the free kick. In the 64th minute, Max Nyström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mark Bergqvist's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ivan Eriksson firmly grabbed it by the left post. Allan Hybbert blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lars Hellgren having to make a save. Allan Hybbert struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Lars Hellgren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Björkö BK. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Henrik Trillkott managed to get in a good position for a shot. Björkö BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Henrik Trillkott was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lars Hellgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Allan Hybbert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Lars Hellgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd match minute, Björkö BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allan Hybbert to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Mark Bergqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hjärup's supporters rose to their feet, but Mark Bergqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Eriksson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle went the supporters of Hjärup were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Björkö BK side.
