Spectators: 6668 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1668, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Benjamin Malmström kicked off to start the match. Gilbert Sundin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arman Blomqvist went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Svenska Krigare's Arman Blomqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Arman Blomqvist put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Gilbert Sundin. Gilbert Sundin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allan Mellberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 19 minutes, Erik Bark mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lyrestad and the Svenska Krigare players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Lyrestad getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Erik Bark hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Svenska Krigare's Alf Bergström tried to score from far away in the 20th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Gilbert Sundin came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Svenska Krigare's Arman Blomqvist. But to his dismay, Arman Blomqvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Arman Blomqvist put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Gilbert Sundin. Allan Mellberg scored 0-5 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gilbert Sundin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Lyrestad's Erik Bark got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Arman Blomqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 39 played minutes Lyrestad got a freekick which was hit by Jarl Rosendahl. Jarl Rosendahl kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Arman Blomqvist succeeded in the game's 48th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-7. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

The wind increased when Arman Blomqvist made the kick off in the second half. Gilbert Sundin made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Allan Mellberg sent off a good shot on target. Gilbert Sundin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Allan Mellberg in the 58th minute. The audience was convinced that Arman Blomqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilbert Sundin was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. If Allan Mellberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arman Blomqvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gilbert Sundin having to make a save. After 69 minutes, Benjamin Malmström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lyrestad and the Svenska Krigare players grew even worse after the yellow card. Svenska Krigare's Arman Blomqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 0-8 became the score in the 73rd minute when Allan Mellberg elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Lyrestad's Benjamin Malmström got a free kick in the 77th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Svenska Krigare's Alf Bergström broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After having played for 85 minutes, Arman Blomqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Svenska Krigare's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arman Blomqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 88 minutes, Dan Högström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Svenska Krigare and the Lyrestad players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 88th minute of the game. One of Svenska Krigare:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lyrestad:s goal. Axel Ström placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Allan Mellberg in the 95thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gilbert Sundin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 98 played minutes Svenska Krigare got a freekick which was hit by Ingvar Söderberg. After 99 minutes of play, Lyrestad's Sven-Erik Söderman made it 1-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jens Apelkvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Svenska Krigare's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
