Spectators: 7283 (Terracing: 5464, Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Ove Zachrisson in the 14th minute of play forced Djurgråden's goalkeeper Jan Sveberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 16 played minutes Mörbylånga got a freekick which was hit by Marcus Bållström. Mörbylånga's Karl-Ove Zachrisson suffered a sore thigh after 22 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Emil Rosen's late challenge caught a Mörbylånga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 29 minutes, Joachim Lidberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mörbylånga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joachim Lidberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jan Sveberg came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Mörbylånga's Joachim Lidberg. But to his dismay, Joachim Lidberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Paul Brovall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. Gösta Åberg charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gösta Åberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. It was beautiful to see Mörbylånga's Bengt-Åke Abrahamsson in action when he in the 80th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. The tension between the Mörbylånga and the Djurgråden players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Mörbylånga's Marcus Bållström got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Joachim Lidberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Mörbylånga left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Djurgråden.
