Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Herbert Nykvist started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Rundvik IF's zone, Rutger Skark stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Torgny Asklöv came out of the goal and Rutger Skark tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edvard Tham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbert Nykvist in the 7th minute of the match. Crypto FC's Edvard Tham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Nykvist in the 10th minute of play. Edvard Tham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herbert Nykvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 23 minutes, Herbert Nykvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rundvik IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Herbert Nykvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edvard Tham made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Sven-Ove Fridlund sent off a good shot on target. Rutger Skark took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Torgny Asklöv. Torgny Asklöv dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 34 minutes into the match, Herman Larsfelt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Torgny Asklöv. Rundvik IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Herman Larsfelt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When Vilgot Strömbom fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Crypto FC's protests and gave Vilgot Strömbom a yellow card for diving instead. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Crypto FC's goalkeeper Edvard Tham, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Herbert Nykvist scored 1-2 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edvard Tham, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Herman Larsfelt made a kick off. In the 54th minute Herman Larsfelt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torgny Asklöv saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Rutger Skark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edvard Tham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Ove Fridlund in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Herbert Nykvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edvard Tham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herbert Nykvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Sven-Ove Fridlund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sven-Ove Fridlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Crypto FC's zone, Sven-Ove Fridlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edvard Tham came out of the goal and Sven-Ove Fridlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sven-Ove Fridlund struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Edvard Tham didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rundvik IF. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Herbert Nykvist in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edvard Tham saved Crypto FC from getting behind. Rundvik IF's Herbert Nykvist got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sven-Ove Fridlund struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Edvard Tham didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rundvik IF. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Herbert Nykvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rundvik IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Herbert Nykvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edvard Tham breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
