An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Erik Hedlund in the 33rd minute of play forced Nävekvarn FF's goalkeeper Ragnar Lundqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Per-Erik Salqvist made a precise shot to the right of Marcus Sjögren. Stallarholmen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Marcus Sjögren came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Nävekvarn FF's Dag Göransson. But to his dismay, Dag Göransson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Dag Göransson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sven-Erik Hedlund made a kick off. When Dag Göransson came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Nävekvarn FF fans jumped to their feet. Stallarholmen's Marcus Sjögren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Stallarholmen from getting a goal against them. The Nävekvarn FF fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when Nävekvarn FF's Per-Erik Salqvist looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The supporters of Stallarholmen booed when Nävekvarn FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ian Arvidsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Nävekvarn FF eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
