In the 24th minute Peter Ahlroth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincent Westerberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Peter Ahlroth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. Rönninge RK's Vincent Westerberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alf Gudmundsson in the 46th minute of play. Peter Ahlroth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ingvar Kinnman was the one to do the kick off. The En dagens tack! fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Alf Gudmundsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. After 80 minutes, Peter Ahlroth made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Rönninge RK's Vincent Westerberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Rönninge RK's Folke Sjöman got a free kick in the 94th minute. Alf Gudmundsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. En dagens tack!'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
