Ove Rolfsson hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, Tim Brolin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ulf Deckbergh was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Joakim Hammarberg was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Morgan Jönsson. Ulf Deckbergh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Erik Höijer in the 38th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Skeppshult BF's André Hultin got a free kick in the 40th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tim Brolin to make the kick off. Skeppshult BF's Joakim Hammarberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Åke Hellström in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Oliver Uter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jens-Erik Höijer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Ulf Deckbergh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tim Brolin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ulf Deckbergh read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. After 71 played minutes, Gunnared KIF's Morgan Jönsson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joakim Hammarberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gunnared KIF reached it. If Oliver Uter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Morgan Jönsson hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. When Skeppshult BF's Jens-Erik Höijer, in the 80th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Skeppshult BF. If Tim Brolin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jens-Erik Höijer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Ulf Deckbergh made a huge save. Ulf Deckbergh made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jens-Erik Höijer in the 88th minute. When Karl-Åke Hellström came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Gunnared KIF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl-Åke Hellström couldn't finish the play. Ove Rolfsson hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Jens-Erik Höijer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Ulf Deckbergh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When André Hultin fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skeppshult BF's protests and gave André Hultin a yellow card for diving instead. After 97 played minutes Skeppshult BF got a freekick which was hit by André Hultin. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
