Spectators: 6664 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gustav Hedbom started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Nässjö's Kent Stabbe got a free kick in the 3rd minute. A collision led to Stjärnsund RK getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Albin Rydberg hit a great ball. After 11 minutes of play, Nässjö's Josef Morat made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Knut Fribäck was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Filiph Axelsson in the 16th minute of play forced Nässjö's goalkeeper Stig Caspersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st match minute, Nässjö was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allan Nordgren to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Nässjö defense, Filiph Axelsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stig Caspersson. The Nässjö fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stig Caspersson should have stopped the shot. Filiph Axelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute of the match Erling Ström shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stig Caspersson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Stig Caspersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uno Vestberg in the 37th minute of play. Filiph Axelsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Stig Caspersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Uno Vestberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Filiph Axelsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nässjö's Gustav Hedbom got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 57thth minute of the game Filiph Axelsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nässjö's Stig Caspersson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 58 played minutes Nässjö got a freekick which was hit by Allan Nordgren. Uno Vestberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Nässjö's Stig Caspersson got control of the ball when Uno Vestberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Torsten Ahlqvist's late challenge caught a Nässjö's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Torsten Ahlqvist helped the player get up and apologised. In the 64th match minute, Stjärnsund RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torsten Ahlqvist to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Josef Morat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nässjö's supporters rose to their feet, but Josef Morat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Knut Fribäck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Filiph Axelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had been going on for 78 minutes, Stjärnsund RK's Joar Juhlin got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Stig Caspersson. The attack was good, but when Uno Vestberg in the 83rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 84th minute Filiph Axelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig Caspersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute, Stjärnsund RK's Filiph Axelsson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Stig Caspersson. Stig Caspersson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Stig Caspersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filiph Axelsson in the 97th minute of the match. Stjärnsund RK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
