Spectators: 7283 (Terracing: 5464, Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 144) When Bengt-Åke Delin fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Borensberg FF's protests and gave Bengt-Åke Delin a yellow card for diving instead. Bengt-Åke Delin kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Josef Morat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ture Mellin having to interfere. Gustav Hedbom kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sonny Lind in the 7th minute of play forced Nässjö's goalkeeper Stig Caspersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Josef Morat struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Ture Mellin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nässjö. Stig Caspersson was a little too slow when Sonny Lind got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 1-0. When Nässjö's Josef Morat in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Borensberg FF's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustav Hedbom in the 22nd minute of play forced Borensberg FF's goalkeeper Ture Mellin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Morgan Lundgren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stig Caspersson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sonny Lind in the 27th minute of play forced Nässjö's goalkeeper Stig Caspersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute Sonny Lind shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig Caspersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stig Caspersson was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Bo-Erik Säf. Gustav Hedbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ture Mellin having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Gustav Hedbom made the kick off in the second half. Borensberg FF's Morgan Lundgren got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Sonny Lind had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sonny Lind received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Stig Caspersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Morgan Lundgren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Borensberg FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 67 minutes into the match, Borensberg FF's goal looked a bit too open when Gustav Hedbom came free, but Ture Mellin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Stefan Holmberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute, Josef Morat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Nässjö's Kent Stabbe got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Nässjö's zone, Sonny Lind stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stig Caspersson came out of the goal and Sonny Lind tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 86 minutes into the match, Borensberg FF's goal looked a bit too open when Gustav Hedbom came free, but Ture Mellin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Borensberg FF's zone, Gustav Hedbom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ture Mellin came out of the goal and Gustav Hedbom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Borensberg FF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
